Strong Points

Has excellent size, strength and mobility. Moves around like a much smaller man. A relentless competitor. Plays in a multi-offense and lines up both under center and in the spread. Is mobile in the pocket and can extend plays with his feet. Very good runner. He sets up quickly, has a strong arm and a quick release. Reads the field well, makes good decisions and is accurate both long and short. Can throw from both the pocket and while on the run. Very poised and a strong leader.

Weak Points

Plays at a lower level of competition. Broke his wrist midway through the season and missed the rest of the season.

The Way We See It

Wentz is bigger, faster and stronger than former Eastern Illinois QB Jimmy Garoppolo. He doesn't put up the numbers Garoppolo did because of the style of offense. In my opinion, he is more talented than Garoppolo and, after a period of learning, he will become a winning starting quarterback in the NFL. His injury hurt his development, but not his talent level.
