Strong Points

Rare athlete with explosive speed and jumping ability. Makes things look easy. Has a rare burst and gets to full speed very quickly. Easily gets separation. Has very good hands, can snatch the ball and adjust to make the difficult catch. Excellent run-after-catch skills with very good run instincts. Can be a club's main kickoff return man.

Weak Points

Playing in the Baylor offense, he has only a minimal route tree and is an undisciplined route runner. When he is not the first or second option, he often gives little or no effort. Not a blocker. You seldom get to see him compete for the ball in traffic so it is a difficult skill to grade.

The Way We See It

Corey is going to have to learn what it takes to be an NFL receiver, but he has the natural traits and skill set to become outstanding. Can be an instant game breaker! He is very raw as a route runner and gives little effort to block, so he will need to go through a period of adjustment once he gets drafted. Has as much talent and upside as any receiver in the draft. If his testing numbers from Baylor are accurate, his numbers at the Combine could be off the charts.
