Strong Points

Has started at both corner and safety while at FSU. Smooth with excellent speed and overall body control. Has very quick feet, stays low in his pedal and turns easily. Has an outstanding burst out of his turn. Can mirror through all types of routes and has very good ball skills. Has outstanding size for a corner and can easily get to 215. Plays on punt coverage unit.

Weak Points

Needs to get stronger. Is more of a grab tackler and will miss some tackles because he lacks top upper-body strength. Can get careless in coverage and will give up some catches that shouldn't be made. Gets beat off the jam at times. Needs to be more aggressive taking on blocks. Hands aren't natural.

The Way We See It

Has the skill set to be a top cover corner in the NFL. Has great size, speed and overall athleticism. Can play press, off or zone equally well. Gets and keeps good positioning on receivers. He is willing in run support and is productive on punt coverage. He reacts very well to the ball in the air and gets a high number of PBUs, but not many interceptions. His hands aren't natural. He needs to increase his upper body strength and that will improve his tackling. He should come in and start right away. Has the talent to play safety but needs to be more physical if a team uses him there. Might be a Pro Bowl player at corner.
