Strong Points

Excellent size and strength, plays with power. Plays at between 275-280 but has a frame that can carry 290+. Great instincts and awareness. Very good use of hands. Excellent competitor who goes all out every play and shows he can dominate versus both the run and pass. Solid athlete who moves around like a much smaller man. Can run, change direction and has outstanding balance. Scheme versatile, can play inside or outside in any scheme.

Weak Points

Can get a bit undisciplined at times and that can take him out of the play.

The Way We See It

Bosa is a third-year junior who has been a dominant starter since his freshman year. He has all the necessary physical tools to be a high-level player in the NFL. Is scheme versatile in that he can play defensive end or as a 3-technique in a 4-3 or play as a defensive end in a 3-4. He is strong and powerful and can dominate at the line of scrimmage. He has great instincts and reactions and is consistently around the ball. He is an outstanding competitor who goes all out every play. Has the frame to get to 290 and can be a J.J. Watt-type player in the NFL. No doubt he will be a top 5 selection in the draft. He is a better pass rusher than Watt was coming out of college.
