Strong Points

Dodd has excellent size with the frame to easily get to 290-295. He's a good to very good athlete. He is light on his feet, quick to change direction, has very good body control and runs well. Had a dominant National Championship game with three sacks. Had 12 total sacks on the season. Dodd improves every year. He is a consistent player versus the run and has unlimited upside.

Weak Points

Last season was Dodd's first as a full-time starter. He had to take a medical redshirt year in 2013 with shoulder and toe injuries. He will be a 24-year-old rookie.

The Way We See It

Dodd is a fourth-year junior and a first-year starter. He had a very strong 2015 with 63 total tackles including 23.5 tackles for loss and 12.0 sacks. He was a late bloomer who really came on. He has the physical tools to be a very good NFL player. Has very good size and the frame to get to 290+. Dodd plays the run and pass very well, has good instincts and is seldom fooled. With his size and athleticism, he can play end in a 3-4 or a 4-3. Still has upside. He can be a rookie starter and be a strong contributor.
